Careskills Academy came about in response to a lack of quality online learning opportunities for those wishing to pursue a career in adult social care. A year after our launch in 2014, Careskills Academy earned the endorsement of Skills for Care, the leading UK organisation dedicated to ensuring those who work in adult social care have the knowledge and skills necessary to do their jobs properly.
Care facilities nationwide quickly came to understand the value of having staff members receive training from a Skills for Care endorsed provider. The result: by 2018 more than 1 million Careskills Academy courses had been completed. That incredible number is a testament to the professionalism of our instructors and the fast-growing awareness of Careskills Academy by those involved in social care services.
